With your help we are able to train leaders living near least-reached communities to multiply disciples.

Why Discipleship

Our Impact

Does Our Multiplication Model Work? YES!

The task of reaching the world with the Good News of Jesus Christ is huge, and the number of traditional mission workers and resources are limited. That’s why we take a different approach to the Great Commission, providing clusters of churches with a training model that is reproducible and locally sustained.

Since 2008, we’ve seen 30,897 church plants and 670,135 people make decisions to follow Jesus Christ. We serve 3,475 discipleship-mission, small business, and leadership programs, and out of these programs we have seen 161,726 disciple-makers and leaders trained and sent out to plant churches in least-reached areas.

In 2024 we saw 25,466 disciple-makers trained, 69,380 new believers worshiping in local fellowships, and 3,939 new churches planted in just one year!

Here’s what God has done through Global Disciples in 2024,

Global Disciples Worship Training equips worship leaders to develop contextualized anointed worship that leads to transforming encounters with God. Believing that worship is the fuel and goal of missions, our mission grows in vitality and passion as people are empowered in worship.

In this past year, 61 Worship Leader Trainings equipped 1,237 worship leaders in 20 nations. Worship leaders are also taking their songs out into their communities to share about Jesus! We are so excited to see where God will take these people and how He'll continue to use their musical giftings in reaching the unreached and giving Him all the praise!

For the month of December, we are praying for the nation of Indonesia. The country has a population of 284 million people with nearly 200 million considered least-reached.

Last year, 51 disciple-makers were trained and planted eight new churches, with 74 new disciples. They have co-labored with God to do amazing work in a very difficult context. Let's lift up the leaders, the churches and the unreached people of Indonesia this month!

“I am serving among people groups who have not heard about Jesus. The Global Disciples Directors Training enlarged my vision to make disciples. We selected 15 disciple-makers from 15 districts and trained them. They went out, planted nine churches, and 80 new believers accepted Christ. Thirty-six people are preparing for baptism. “We have planned the next training and already seven people from different people groups will be trained to serve their own people groups.”

Because of you, people are equipped to reach their nations. Your gifts, prayers, and enthusiastic support make it possible for disciple-makers to train and multiply, going from strength to strength. Our gratitude exceeds our words. Thank you for partnering with Global Disciples Canada.

"We are grateful for faithful individuals, families, churches, and foundations who contribute to advancing the Gospel. Their generosity is changing communities. Where there were no Jesus-followers, people are now sharing the Gospel, believers are being discipled, and new communities of Jesus followers are taking root. When the light and hope of Jesus enters a community, everything changes. We are more passionate and committed than ever before to equipping leaders in the unreached corners of the world... until the whole world knows."
- Andre Lesure, National Director of Global Disciples Canada
No matter where you find yourself, take heart and be encouraged. We serve a good God who's faithful and sovereign over everything. He not only loves us, but has the best for us in mind.
We are so grateful for the opportunity that God has given us to partner with more than 1,803 churches and serve over 3,475 leaders, directing their training programs in 74 countries. Some planted the seed, and others watered it, but God is the One making it grow.

That is why we lean on this word: "Lord, you establish peace for us; all that we have accomplished you have done for us." - Isaiah 26:12
Can harvesting moss from the sea multiply disciples? Does raising chickens impact church planting? In southern Tanzania, a small group of disciples are using sea moss
to support themselves in sharing the Good News of Jesus among a least-reached people. Those who put their faith in Christ are often neglected by their Muslim families and neighbors in this area. Another woman is using her chicken business to support her church and lead people to Christ.

These disciples use Global Disciples training to creatively bridge economic and social gaps, and support a developing community of Christ-followers, planting churches, and reaching least-reached Muslims.

The relationship between worship and mission is pivotal. Acts 16:25 illustrates Paul and Silas praying and singing hymns to God in prison, an act of worship that leads to a miraculous jailbreak and the conversion of the jailer and his family. This incident shows that worship can serve as a powerful testimony of faith, often leading to evangelistic opportunities and impacting those who do not yet know Christ.

Furthermore, worship empowers missionaries by aligning their efforts with God’s power and presence. As they engage in worship, they are reminded of the reasons behind their mission—the love and mercy of God, which they are called to share with all nations. This alignment is crucial in maintaining spiritual vitality and keeping the mission aligned with God’s purpose, especially in contexts that are challenging or resistant to the Gospel.

Global Disciples Canada prioritizes this intertwining of worship and mission in its training programs, allowing leaders to experience and understand the transformative power of worship, not only in their personal lives but also in their ministries.
